The raid that occurred at "the village" was unbelievable. Everyone at "the village" received a letter advising them that a code inspection was going to be conducted on their properties.

Code Enforcement would be visiting. In the meantime, one of the residents was a registered nurse who works with disabled patients who is really into alternative medicine and had approximately 40 plants that there he was growing for the patients. The plants were assigned to each patient and were documented with a letter from the doctor for each patient.

The local Government agencies were really mad at this guy. The local Government agencies retaliate as a pattern and practice in the county. They are sore losers.

The local sheriff had previously attempted to attain charges against the medical marijuana activist and the sheriff, district attorney, prosecutor, had been unsuccessful.

One time the charges were thrown out because the court determined that the sheriff had illegally accessed the property to discover the plants. This case the county appealed, without the medical marijuana activist's knowledge, and were successful.

There charges were reversed and the marijuana activist was again facing these charges. The testimony provided to the appeal's court is the link: Who called the village the Bowen Ranch?

The District Attorney misrepresented facts to the court to gain a favorable ruling. My opinion. I can present the case.

In addition, the medical marijuana activist had defended himself against assault charges that were falsely filed by Mike Castro. You can see the district attorney's decision to dismiss the case. The district attorney stated that the victim had misrepresented the facts.

The medical marjuana activist was very active in defending the public's rights to accesss the Deep Creek area for many years.

So, the local Government arrived the day of "the village invasion" with nine different Government Agencies. "The Village" was surrounded by paramilitary individuals, then a helicopter flew over, which commenced the other agencies onto the scene.

The person in the helicopter, of course, spotted the medical marijuana activists' plants. Members of the sheriff's department were onto the property searching. Come to find out that they did not have a warrant to search the property. There was no exigent circumstance (emergency) to warrant the immediate entry without a warrant.

The residents of the village were subjected to searches of their homes, even some people who were not home at the time.

They had received administrative warrants for the purposes of code enforcement. Administrative warrants are not to be used as search warrants as defined by law and interpretted by the courts.

This "village invasion" was a shocking violation of civil rights upon a community. The "village invasion" was captured on
video tape by two individuals.

I have some still photos of the "the village invasion". After that the village received constant low flyovers by helicopters. These helicopters appeared to have cameras on them and some of the helicopters were unmarked, some in formation, some are the sheriff, there is a list of the dates when this occurred. One time a helicopter lost its rotor and had to conduct emergency action.

Anyway, what happened there is unbelievable. These people have civil rights provided under the constitution.

Three months later was "the Willow Fire". Then a constant checkpoint on Bowen Ranch Road stopping all traffic and taking down car license numbers and conducting law enforcement activities.

These people have been through a lot lately.
