I was one of the mud people along with my wife and a couple of friends. Specifically there was no LSD involved but I'll just leave it at that.
We will have to check out the goings on upstream next time we head down. It's such a magical place on so many levels, all I can think about is our next visit. The creek, the pools, the mud, the sun, the hip naked people, the dragonflies, all of it comes together and just leaves you feeling wonderful and peaceful and totally in love with nature. I'm a little worried about getting cited for camping but then again, if the fines are as small as what I've seen, it's completely worth it. Does anyone know what was up with the helicopter that circled rather low in the afternoon? I thought it was going to land at one point at the top of the ridge but it eventually took off. Are helicopters regular sightings or is it more likely they were on a rescue mission of some sort?
