Are the roads to Bowen Ranch and the trails to the hot spring all accessible for tomorrow?
Went in this morning, passed two fire trucks heading out, gave them the wave and thumbs up. When I reached the Coxey Rd intersection, the fire teams were loading up to leave out. Great job to all those fire fighters getting the area under control and out in such a quick manner.
The roads at the base, down by the first ranch by the cutback near town... those are very sandy, with the fire rigs running through there, there are some new divots and if you hit them wrong, you get bogged down quite a bit. The rest of the roads are clear. The burn area was visiable on my way out, when i could look off toward the Villiage and Rock Springs Ranch.
The pools were nice, not too hot, but the Arizona pool is full of sand again... even after spending so much time last weekend, it's a mess... disappointing. I just didn't have the time to do any digging out today. The crossing is easy, and actually after the hike in, very refreashing... not as cold as it was, but cool, yes.
