http://www.flickr.com/photos/hotspringswizard/?saved=1 ) showing the fire as seen off of the Bowen Ranch rd yesterdsay ( 6-9 ) evening at around 9:30PM. The photo is not very clear but it will give you some idea of what it looked like. Regarding the fires origin, Ann who is the caretaker of the Rock Springs ranch said she heard from someone that it started in the vicinity of what the locals call The Vatican which is an old homestead in a small valley east of the Village area. She said someone may have been camping there and perhaps left an unattended campfire. Of course the true origin may be something differant than this since Ann's story was passed along hearsay info.
