However, I think the list of issues is quite ambitious. We really have very little control over many of these issues. I'm not sure we can make much progress regarding solutions without guidance from the FS.

Also, we may not have a lot of time for the meeting. How long is everyone willing to stay around for the first meeting? An hour? Two hours?

As far as the trash & possible signs, I believe we can formulate a plan to present to the FS to get their input.

Items like overnight camping and fires are already prohibited. What can we do to prevent them other than informing the people breaking the rules? Is there a point I'm not picking up on here?

I believe a shortened agenda what be helpful, to include:

1) Naming the group
2) Deciding upon leadership
3) Formulating a mission statement
4) Discussing what can be presented to the FS regarding trash and signs
5) Setting a time for the following meeting
6) Discuss other items as we have time

I am presently availabe for a meeting on the 18th. I'd prefer not to pay a fee to spend a few minutes in a park so I'd vote for a free park.
