How safe is camping at the freedom trail head? Has there been any recent problems with vandalism or roudy groups? would you recomend it for a couple camping alone?? I have camped at DCHS last june on a through hike on the PCT and had no problems with rangers. how strict have they been this year or in the past few weeks? I plan on going this weekend since Im unable to make it in the week. Do you think thats a wise decision or will we be cought up with every hodad and their mom??
