Re: trailhead for PCT ?

I went for a hike down to DCHS today and had a nice chat with Hippy Dave as well as with a couple other regulars I've know over the years. Great spring weather with warm temps and light breezes. The creek is still running pretty strong with all the snow melt. The wade across from the beach was just below chest high if you did it about 40 feet downstream. Maybe around 25 people during the day. On my hike out I watched the Sherriff helicoptor circle the springs a couple of times then it came in my direction and went right by me heading towards the Bowen Ranch, with the people in side it waving at me ( the naked dude ) as they went past :-) Hippy Dave said there was a big group of around 20 Naturist that was supposed to go to DCHS tomorrow. I was just looking at the satelite image on the weather channel and it looks like the weather will be real nice tomorrow too, for anyone who's thinking of heading up there.
