Jobe, regarding this you said, " I never let the rumor mongers ruin my day talking about robbers ", I have had my vehicle vandalized twice in the past parking around the Mojave Forks Dam. And in reference to this Celtfire said, " the dam to hot springs trail is my favorite route to get there ", I would add that I have gone by that route many times in the past, but in recent years the graffiti along the trail from the dam vicinity all the way up the canyon a few miles to the bridge has increased to a sickening state. Just because of the graffiti I no longer wish to hike that portion of the PCT.
