Is anyone interested in a semi permanent steel cable setup? If all are in agreement, it would be possible to place bolts in the rocks on both sides, and attach a wire rope cable across the creek.

I can get the wire rope for free, and I think I can come up with everything else needed.

We could make it to be removed after rainy season, and leave the gear with Wizard or another regular...
