Another scenic way to get to Gold Strike canyon from Ca. is to take the Nipton Rd exit in Ca. off the U.S. Interstate 15 NORTH before you leave Ca. Take it east past the town of Nipton to U.S. 95 NORTH to the U.S. 93 intersection. turn right and go east on through the boulder city strip to the light where you go left to stay on U.S.95 south. As you would to go to the Hoover dam. How ever, Go .5 mile or 1/2 of a mile past the Haciena Hotel Casino. Turn right go under the new bridge and go left, not on to the new highway enterance but, turn left at the y in the road go LEFT. go to the end of this 1/4 mile long road and park. Continue 1.9 miles to the first hot springs. 2.5 miles to the Colorado River.
