The past 3 weeks I ' ve been digging out the cave in the upper cave pool. It was only big enough for one pair of lovers, now it is bigg enough for 5 pair of lovers :-) As I dug out the source where the water comes out I noticed an increse in the flow rate. This makes the pool depth increase also. The upper cave pool is now more than 2 feet deep. The temp in the cave is 113.8 the temp in the center of that pool is 106.8. Too hot for some folks. Perrfect for me!
The lower cave pool was trashed by somebody last week. I got most of the trash in 1 trash bag. So while I was there I sucked all the mud and rocks off the bottom of that pool , making the water clear as can be. The temp in the center of that pool was 102.8 in the cave 104.
The privacy pool , the one behind the big boulder was full of the 5 prettiest women who were from Big Bear lake last week end. That pool is @ 3 feet deep and 102.8 degrees. It was a great soak. The source there was 112.8 degrees.
