This is not about thinking Rick. It is about warning criminals before you charge them with their crime. Obviosly, these guys are no good at thinking. But if they are smart enough to read I will getum.
About 20 years ago I caught a guy dumping tires out of a dump truck @ 200 yards from my property. His response to me telling him to pick them back up was " he did not have to cause there was no sign. As if a sign trumped common sense. The judge made him pick them up, pay a fine and go on probation. No, these guys are'nt good at thinking. The sign is just a formality before you stick it to them. Besides, every one knows, all of southern California is just one big parking lot ;~)
I just got back from Florida. While there I went to my favorite beach. Before you get to the Gulf Shores National recreational area there is a place with signs. I enjoy looking at them and did. To see how the laws have evolved over the years. I call them the no - no signs, there are about 30 no - no's there. The only rules that have changed there lately were:
No alcohol and no nudity. Which kinda surprised me. Most tourist know not to drink while skinny dipping :~) I did not know it was a crime though, so I left my beer in the ice box.
