The road is now paved all the way to the Kinely Creek Bridge, from the Arrowhead side, and is paved past the Kinely Creek bridge a couple hundred yards to the west, towards Hesperia and to the " Dragon " Jobe mentions which is a tree burning facility. Past that to the west the road is dirt for about four and a half miles. Jobe, when I passed by the burning facility last time there was no activity there. The " spring " you mentioned, is this off the Bradford Ridge Trail somewhere. I used to hike from the Kinely Creek Bridge following the old Jeep road which was just east of the current Bradford Ridge trail, and about a half mile on that hike from the bridge there was a spot with a spring where someone had put a big horse trough which was full to the brim. After the Willow fire burnt through that area I noticed that there were signs of what looked to be an Archeological exavation by that spring. I would think the Indians of old may have inhabited that spot because of the springs, and because there was ( before the Willow Fire ) a big healthy grove of Pinion pines there also.
