People seem to forget that the road to that bridge is paved now. Has been for I guess a year + now. Just past the bridge is what I call the tree eating dragon. It ate beetle infested trees 7/24 for several months. It roared very load. When I visited last weekend I heard that the guy who operated the tree machine dropped a tree on hisself. Killing him dead.
Does any one know if the dragon is still roaring?
When I measured the path with my GPS reciever it said I hicked 2.92 miles.
In case any one wants to know. I did stop at that little spring about 2/3rds of the way down. But that wasn't very far off the trail.
Also last weekend I saw the secret guy who I know helps mother nature nurture that trail. He lives in the area also. It would be a good guess that he used that trail also. I always get good vibes from him :~)
