I agree your aproach to talking to people is the best for the springs and I think a flyer is often a good way to start a conversation. Thanks for the offer to translate it to Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish myself so I could probably do so and give it to you to proof read.

Wizard and I also saw the group climbing up the steep slope back up to the trail. That was the group that I think I mentioned I saw on the trail down but never made it to the H.S. Maybe we should post some signs in that area that people must stay on the trail. I am sure USFS does not approve of the errosion caused by a group like that making there own trail, not to mention the risk to the three small children that they were taking up that way. I notided that on the Bradford trail there were some very neet signs placed by volunteers. Does anyone know the volunteer that did them? I will see if I can go to the spot you mention and gather trash this coming Saturday.
