Jay, we just ate at the IB Coronado Brewery yesterday! It'ssmaller and more casual than the one in Coronado, but the food and beer are the same and all very good. Imperial Beach has undergone a fantastic Renaissance since the run down ghetto drug haven it used to be for many years.Some residential properties are still comparatively affordable. Also, try eating at "Barrels" in IB sometime. Another good restaurant.
A lot of folks are not happy about the proposed military development there because it will generate tons of additional traffic, which ultimately changes the current low traffic character of IB.
