Glad to help, At Big Caliente, the tempature depends on where the valve is set. There is a valve that controls the hot water in flow. So it just depends on where it was before you get there. If you hike past there about 100 yards there is another set of pools, recently built. They are called the anniversery pools. The h2o there comes down the hill directly to the pools, via a hose. So if the hoseby jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Gee, L.B. + M.G., I hiked that trail dozens of times before the fire. While there I saw motorcycles zip by many times. Some times they were dangerously fast. I saw your neighbor Kid Chris the other Chris and Mr. Castro a few times. Matter of fact, I took my motorcycle up and down it a few times. But stopped as it was too much of a challenge for my street bike. It appears to me the BLM realizes tby jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California

DCR, Two weeks ago when I was in Santa Barbara, I visited an old friend there. He said that Monticeto was destroyed by the current land owner, and he had made it more difficult to get to by fencing it up, and more no tresspassing signs. So, I avoided that place. As, he is a constant hot springer. And I avoid such signs. I am learning how to load my pictures on to my zoom browzer program. And wiby jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Genesis 1: 14 And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser to rule the night: he madby jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California

Rick, Have you noticed the moon has been super low in the sky and is now climbing higher every day, getting closer in conjuction with the suns path? The scientist say it dont matter, but I say it is all relative. This was the way it was when the Northridge quake hit and hit and hit. I was living in Simi Valley then. Thanks for shareing. Gee LAUGHING BEAR, I have never called in sick. Come to think of it I have seldom ever been sick. I remember you almost made Pope Don sick when you came back to the village. No you did make him sick, or maybe he was already sick. I will bring some healing sage on my next trip up. I have never seen anyone make any money calling in sick. Beautiful picture Rick. I noticed the two recent editions have different pictures, however, the old edition (12years ago) has a picture with a similar pool. So my guess now is either Crowley, Travertine, or Crab cooker. Perhaps I have seen to too many pools. They are starting to blurr together in my mind. Utah, Idaho and Colorado here I come. Golly Rick, will I get in trouble talking about the trail of least resistance? I have noticed that the reception there has gotten much better over the last year. I have t-moble as my service provider, and I get 100% all around the parking lot there. Which makes me feel more secure, in case more vandalisum occurs. Naked Man, Sorry, I had to get some water. Since possession is in fact 9/10ths of the law, as we agree. And Castro has never had possession to the title to Bowen ranch. Naked Man, Yes, I noticed that. Also notice that Katrina has shown through the chain of title reserch that clearly the owners were; the New York owners, and before that Gertie Bowen. That was awsome Rick. I live on the east side of the Las Vegas valley. Last night as I drove home from the store @ 10 pm I stopped my car to watch the lightening show over Lake Meade.
