Gee,
L.B. + M.G., I hiked that trail dozens of times before the fire. While there I saw motorcycles zip by many times. Some times they were dangerously fast. I saw your neighbor Kid Chris the other Chris and Mr. Castro a few times. Matter of fact, I took my motorcycle up and down it a few times. But stopped as it was too much of a challenge for my street bike.
It appears to me the BLM realizes their limitations on this one. Stopping this trails use would be like stopping deep creek from flowing. Very difficult.
Also if you follow it up hill you come to the 3n59 trail. The other direction goes to Oak spings and some other unnamed springs.
While hiking this trail I learned why the area is called , reparian. Also from this trail you can access Round mountian. So you see it is one of those gifts of nature.
While scanning the area on my topo 4 map program I can see this trail clearly marked.
I do not intend to change your minds on this. But can you see from their point of view also? And how long has it been since you enjoyed this or any of the fabulous trails in the area?
It seems to me the only solution to you problem would be a ban on motorcycles completely. Good luck, as you would have to fight Castro to do that.
Also Mojave Who are you? Jus wanderin' ?
