My trip was ok. I felt at first that I just wanted my old trail back lol. I had parked on Bowen ranch side of the fence. I was not sure if I could drive down the road after the fencing or if it was a different property? I did not notice the entrance for this other new entry property. I hiked following the road and side trail towards the road that crosses the old Bowen trail. It was a bit of follby Trailgal - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California

Hi I am looking for Info on any current trip report. I’d like to hike down to the hot springs. Is the river crossing wild yet or manageable, I expect it to be ice cold, just need to know if it’s swift or deep ect. Also there are new ways to park. I’ve always been good with Mike at Bowen. my recent bowen Ranch trip, I noticed new times for departure Recently it said, (in my own words and recollection, not official ) Ranch is open 7am to 5pm. No entry after 5pm. $5. And overnight is still 10$ , price is per person. All of my favorite camping spots had giant fence running through them, and all current camping was in the parking area as has always been. 5.26We got a huge screw in our tire from the parking lot, saw lots of horse poop on the trail, wondered what way they went cuz its steep in some parts, didnt see them on the beach side tho, hot springs were nice, womb was a bit peepee smelling, seen a guy taking pictures be for the camera theft, unusual. I parked there on a recent trip not more than a week ago. Never have any problems while parking on Bowen ranch!!! I am polite to the land owners, and crack a joke or two with them. There are new hours, which I think helps curb the over night stays at the creek. 7 am open 9 pm close . $10 if traveling out after dusk. I always thank Bowen for being available and holding space . I'm familiar with both, and you'd find me at the hot springs lol! Go! Hey I'd love to get some info on the damn parking for Deep Creek ? it looks like a very large area on the map and I was wondering where do I park at? and possibly can I camp in that area for a night or two ?! and then of course how do I take that trail to Deep Creek ?! 7 am to 10 pm are the hours , if I'm rembering right You can come and go anytime between those hours, granted there is a 5 to 10$ charge depending on the time and length of stay, it usually takes me 40 minutes to hike down, and an hour to hike up, give and take , and once I'm at the hot springs time melts away ! Saturday my family went to the springs and it was really great day there wasn't a really wild crowd, people were having fun. but I did notice that the Arizona pool was ankle-deep the plug seems to not be holding water and the river is very hot Behind The Rock.
