Re: Any current Trip reports

My trip was ok. I felt at first that I just wanted my old trail back lol. I had parked on Bowen ranch side of the fence. I was not sure if I could drive down the road after the fencing or if it was a different property? I did not notice the entrance for this other new entry property. I hiked following the road and side trail towards the road that crosses the old Bowen trail. It was a bit of follow my instincts and take a look behind for marker points. I found my way down to the road and goat trail crossing. And onto the old familiar trail to the springs. The river crossing that day was up to my calfs and bitter cold. The springs were great. I even managed a crab cooker soak! There was a small crowd for a Tuesday and was very nice to chat with all. The hike out I started at 230 and got back to my truck by 4 after winding my way through new trail territory and finding the road and ranch where I parked. It would be nice to clear up where you can drive from the Bowen ranch entry, there was no one to talk to ... Bradford will be my next trail to explore.
