I was at Pirate's Cove Thursday. Really glassy day and perfect for swimming. Water temp was great. Always a unique mix of people there. "Raven Man" was there as usual, as was "Old Guy" from Arroyo Grande who is always looking for any action he can find! There were two cute girls, probably Cal Poly students, and they had a few beers on the beach and were feeling good! Then the usual guy in his hammock. Later in the day a young couple came down but didn't get nude. Even saw a nude couple floating in their raft at the far south end enjoying the day! Overall, a nice day. Even though Pirates is nice, I still prefer Blacks Beach because it is so much longer and easier to find a quiet spot.
