I hiked in to Willett this morning. Sespe Creek is totally dry - easy to cross, not so easy to swim in. I wonder if there's drinking water at the cabin - not sure about that. I saw nobody at all on the ten miles out, just one tent at Bear Creek.
The pipe from the spring was out of alignment, so the tub was half empty and stone cold. I fixed it up and the water was running hot when I left, but I didn't have time to let the tub fill up for a soak. Took out a little trash instead. It's all good.
On the way home in the afternoon, I met quite a few people backpacking out to the spend the night at Willett, including a large troop of tired Scouts. I hope everyone's having a good night!
