I had a good soak here back in March and everything's the same now. The tub's doing fine. It's not in a beautiful spot, but my guess would be that it never was.
The ten mile hike in took 3.5 hours. The ten mile hike out took 4.5 hours. The trail's in great condition and there's no serious climbing. At Bear Creek and again at Willett, side trails get confusing, but you just stay on the main trail until you see a Trail sign leading across the creek. Oh, and the unmarked trailhead is at the east end of the parking, near the toilets and behind the disabled parking.
If you like to be alone you should probably not plan to camp here on a Saturday night.
