Re: Today at the springs

Wow....the impact of human activity seems to be overwhelming at times. Thanks to all who care that make the special effort to clean up the debris. Mrs Bear and I spent the day watering the peace garden. The trees are growing well and we got most of our firebreaks done. Although there are a few local yaahooos that do ignore the rules at deepcreek, there are several of us who are members of the DCV and encourage the responsible use of public lands within the area. Enforcement is up to the agency responsible, be it the USFS or the BLM. What we do best is lead by example and hope others will follow.
