Looks like with the snow level being relatively high for an extended period, and given that this storm may produce a significant amount of rain, there may very well be high runoff amounts in the Deep Creek drainage. Visitors to DCHS during big storms like this should be especially cautious around the strong stream currents that go along with such storms. The Bradford Ridge trail offers a way to hike to DCHS and access any pools above the stream waters during stormy conditions, since you don't have to cross the swollen creek waters.
