Re: Ranger Nelson's OHV Bias

So BLM's Barstow Chief Ranger told attendees at a local meeting that the BLM lacks the "Resources" to protect against illegal and destructive OHV use. That would seem to be what the BLM hired its Rangers to do.

Didn't the Chief Ranger take an oath as a peace officer to enforce the law with fairness, and not just for his favorite customers, the OHV community?

Could it be that the Chief Ranger doesn't have the "Resources" because he spends so much time at the OHV open areas? Or has he run-off half of his staff, and lost the respect of most of the rest?

Complaints against the Chief Ranger to the BLM have ended in the round can, and this will undoubtably continue as long as his buddy is in overall charge of the Barstow BLM office.
