Well its true enough that there are plenty of roads out here in the desert, with no road dedications from the private lands they cross. Seemed like a major access road like the Bowen Ranch Road would have this kind of thing worked out already but maybe not. I just purchase a piece of land here in Apple Valley and there is a road easement which takes a good chunk off this parcel. Due to the situation it is obvious that in this case, a road would never be needed due to the topography as compared to the lots in the area, and thier needs for access. A lot of times these things don't make any sense. I see in your post you also discuss this Rock Stacking issue. These comments must not be meant for me since I make no mention of this subject in my post. So MG, are " all " people who drive up the mountain, presumably headed for the hotsprings, Suburbanites ( dictated to by the homeowners association ), and, do Mountain Folk, hold a higher position in life, than Suburbanites? Just wonderin :-) Also, I keep hearing this phrase " The Mountain ", sounds real big, but all I see, is some folks livin in them thar hills, and little valleys :-) When I think of a mountain, I think of things like Mt Shasta, Mt Mckinnely, or Mt Everest! The only high point in that area that could be called a Mountain is Luna Mtn. Does anyone live on top of that Mountain?
