Re: Deep Creek to be protected as Wild River

Wild River status would protect the Deep Creek drainege from the long discussed idea of modifying the dam at the forks to hold water in an impoundment. This would flood the hotsprings and surely threaten the clothing optional status of Deep Creek. Deep Creek remains clothing optional because of its remote setting away from the roads. It is a wild and free flowing river today, but who knows what the future will bring in our thirsty state.
