As someone who works for Law Enforcement, why don't you ask people within your organization about law enforcement in San Bernardino County. I have been told that it is well known that law enforcement in San Bernardino County is just like the wild west "lawless".

This is in speaking to numerous retired law enforcement people and police officers. Then there is my own experience and research on the subject. Did you know that law enforcement officers who are honest and law abiding in the County of San Bernardino have been known to have been shot by their fellow police officers? One such police officer has written a book about the corruption within the City of San Bernardino Police Department. This book will be available to the public soon and is entitled "Friendly Fire".

Let me give you just one example: Let's say you are a police officer and you arrive on scene where there are two dead people, husband and wife. The husband has been shot in the chest and the wife is in a car in the garage. Let's say you found that the car ignition was on, the car was out of gas and there was a smell of carbon monoxide. You may conclude that the husband was shot to death by the wife and the wife died in the garage from carbon monoxide poisoning, right?

What if when the toxicology report came back and it showed no carbon monoxide present in the wife's body? Wouldn't you think that perhaps she was dead before she got into the car? Wouldn't you think that perhaps there is more to this case than you originally thought?

I would think that most law enforcement officers would think so and reopen the case for further investigation. Not in the City of San Bernardino. These two deaths were covered up as a "murder-suicide".

Now, the fact that the wife had been the alleged rape victim of a sitting Judge may provide some insight about what is going on here.

This is just one of many cases that I have become aware of in developing my opinions about law enforcement in San Bernardino County.
