A few years ago, I met a gentleman at the springs and he indicated to me in a conversation we were having, that he had first visited the springs back in the year you made note of regarding that astronomer first skinny-dipping at the springs. A doubt if it's the same person, but my point is that the date matches from a person telling me when he fist visited the springs and your story of the astronomer. I wonder if anyone can give information about the hot springs prior to '53'?
I'd like to hear it.
