I believe 3N14 has been opened for quite a while now though I have not traveled it in a good while. I used to go that back way to Big Bear Lake from time to time but since the Devil Fire there are large areas of burnt pinion pines that used to be very beautiful to see and I find it disheartening to drive through them. Kyle could access the Bowen Ranch by that road but it would take significantly longer to get to DCHS if he's coming from around Green Valley Lake.
