Your best bet is to camp at the Bowen Ranch. Ask Mike Castro about having a fire. The fire danger is much lower this time of the year and the USFS permits campfires ONLY in designated sites. There are none in the Deep Creek area. Deep Creek is a day use area only and the rangers will issue a ticket if they catch you camping or building fires. Enjoy the hotsprings and remember to pack it out.
