No, it is not legal to camp at the springs. The hotsprings are day use only. Just recently the area was closed due to extreme fire danger. Since then there have been major storms. Campfires at the springs are not allowed anyway. Most people having campfires have them on private property at the Bowen Ranch. There are some fire rings. On private land, it would be up to the property owner. Be aware that if you start a fire that results in a wildfire that you would be held responsible for the resulting damage.
