Hi,
I'm curious about the PCT route from the spillway by Silverwood Lake. I've always hiked in from Bowen Ranch and have often wondered about other routes in. I've read the directions posted on the DCHS web-page about this hike and have wanted to do it but was unsure about acutally being able to find the trail. Has anyone here done this hike? Is the trailhead easily identifiable after parking at the spillway or am I going to get lost? I'm hoping to get to the springs this Friday and spend the entire day soaking so the extra hiking time for this longer route isn't of great importance.
If you've done this before and can offer any insight or suggestions I'd appreciate it!
