"Ron,
I'm going to do a little re-write of some of the paragraphs and points in the brochure. Take them or leave them

Page 1) Welcome to Deep Creek Hot Springs
These natural hot springs are located in the San Bernardino National Forest. The pools were built by volunteers over a period of years and are largely maintained by volunteers in the pristine state you see them in today. The beautiful and unique landscape, the soothing hot spring waters mixing with the cool mountain stream, local custom and tradition makes for a wonderful clothing-optional setting to be enjoyed by all. Since the time Native American Indians inhabited the area, people from all over the world have come to the Springs to get away, soak, sunbathe, relax, and enjoy the natural environment all year long.
Our group is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the Springs and our right to enjoy it, by reducing the impact of increased visitation through volunteer cleanup efforts, educating the public about various USFS regulations, as well as encouraging a level of visitor etiquette compatible with the goal of preserving the Springs as we do today. To learn more about this informal group and what you can do to help preserve the Springs, see the reverse side of this brochure."
As Naked Man says he simply re-wrote the same introductory information I had on the brochure, but worded it much clearer than in the quick pass I made at this section. Therefore, I am asking the group that attended the meeting to compare Naked Man's wording to the one I handed you at the springs. If 2/3 of the six of us that attended the meeting agree I would like to present this wording to Ranger Brad instead of my own. I would like to do this on an all or nothing basis, in other words this entire wording or my own. If we start cutting and dicing this will go on for ever. If we do not agree I will present Brad with what we agreed to at the springs.
I would assume that I have Naked Man's approval, so with my vote that would be two votes in favor of Naked Man's wording for the first page. What do the rest of you think?
I am aware that the people that could not make the 08/25 meeting do not have the original brochure that I presented. If you want a copy with the revisions we agreed to please either send a SASE envelope or email to the addresses indicated in the previous post. I will send the word document via email that prints on legal size paper, however please do not use it till we have had Ranger Burns approve it. Thanks for your feedback in advance.
