Wow, after meeting you and hearing about your many exploits and experiences coming to DCHS, I just assumed you must be in awesome shape and the hike down and back out would barely make you break a sweat. It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only skinny, healthy-looking-but-miserably-out-of-shape person who struggles getting back out at the end of the day. It’s totally worth the pain to have a day like Wednesday, it’s just too bad the easy hike downhill is first. If I was in charge, we would have the nasty uphill hike on the way there, and the easy hike heading back out after a long relaxing day of bliss. I don’t know who decided to set things up this way but it’s ass backwards. 🙃
