Thanks all for the feedback. I had never had any issue with the owners of Bowen either; like Trailgal said, I’ve just been polite and mindful of the rules, and they have always been helpful. That’s why I was surprised by the recent Yelp reviews.
And yeah I agree- nothing ruins the DCHS experience more than drunk idiots and folks who don’t respect the clothing-optional tradition.
