I was at DCHS yesterday and the crossing was about waist deep if you stayed on the newly created sandbars. The creek level went up a bit in the afternoon after the warm day temps melted more snow upstream. The Serenity and Phoenix Pool where in the stream water. There is a sand bag pool that people were using near the Phoenix Pool source. Hippie Dave and I did some cleaning around the Anniversary Pool. We put some nice clean white sand on the flat walking areas around the pools edge. Nice to walk on
If you don't want to cross the creek you could hike in on the Bradford Ridge Trail which comes from HWY 173. Directions for it can be found at the DCV Web Site link below on this page. The roads to that trail I would guess are cleared now that the weather has warmed up and a lot of snow has melted. It was a wonderful weather day at the springs, and some trees are starting to sprout new buds
