Personally I would stick with the Bradford Ridge trail. The difference between the hikes is really not that great, there is no fee, and it will be less crowded. I would definitely bring them! Don't let the negativity here discourage you. There will most likely be some nudity and drug addicts but the hot springs is one of the most amazing places in the world that everyone should have a chance to experience. We need more good helpful groups at the springs and less of the alcoholic flat biller/bros that overrun the place lately. Just make sure everyone has plenty of water and snacks.
