The only car I have ever had stolen from me was my 1954 Ford F-250 truck. Just when I had it running really sweet. It is really easy to hot wire them. It was built when people trusted each other.
I am waiting for them to make a clicker where the car explodes a bright red dye bag that stinks like a skunk when stolen. That way the dogs can find them.
GPS locators are the best option.
