Sapphire Falls...in Rancho Cucamonga. Beautiful name belies the ugly truth of the place. I hiked there with my 4 year old once. On top of poison oak/ivy, we had to dodge scores upon scores of broken glass/bottles and other dangerous trash. Underage kids were drinking and God knows what other illegal activities they were doing. My daughter was confused why it was profusely littered with trash and heavily graffiti'd. I was deeply disappointed and saddened by the incomprehensible attitude of people who contributed to the falls' condition. Very rarely do I leave a place with a promise not to ever visit again.
