That trail is steeper and more slippery than the glider port trail. It does get a lot of use, however, accidents do happen. Just last week a 50 year old out of shape man slipped about 2/3 of the way down the trail and broke his ankle. He couldn't move, and fortunately another beachgoer saw him and called the lifeguards. The rescue team came out, loaded him on the stretcher, and took him down to the beach to the lifeguard truck.

For anyone who has never been to Blacks, please stick to the glider port trail.
