I forgot to mention, the outside air temp at 3 pm was 77.5 degrees. Also @ 5 pm a group of PCT through hikers gladly arrived at the springs to rest and clean up. First there were 3 males and a female. Then 5 males and 2 females. Then 2 more females and a male. These people were very happy to get to the springs and had some fantastic stories to tell about adventures on the trail. Of course, I was all ears.
