glad you had a great day Johnny (and thanks for that map link you sent me a bit ago). i concur on the flies, they were all over everyone and i think drove off one nice couple i was talking to during the afternoon. i got used to them.
1:30 am rescue? crazy...like i said, when i left friday around 4-ish, most had already hiked out. The place was almost empty, and looked like it would be soon. Just the three Bowen Ranch campers, looking to be gathering their things and dogs for the hike uphill; one older springer; one young couple who arrived late in the day. That was it. Even Camper Dave was gone....I guess hoping that Friday night at the springs would be cleared out though is unrealistic.
