It is a trail that goes from a point within Forestry lands on route 3 and connects to the Bowen Ranch trail at a point within about a 15 minute hike from springs. It allows people to connect to the Bowen Trail without having to traverse the 4 wheel drive portion of route 3 to the Forestry parking lot. If the trail is filled in and smoothed over the route will still be a legal way to walk to the springs.
