The question is where is the Bradford ridge. The Bradford ridge is the steep hill looking west and south as you are sitting in the pools at the springs. It is a 600 foot change in elevation as you go up it.
To get there from the springs you go @ 1/4 of a mile from the springs on the Pacific Crest trail down hill and west. After you go past a sharp turn that obscures your view of the springs and @ 150 feet. the Bradford ridge trail starts going up hill. After you get to the top of that hill it is not too bad of a hike to the trail head. Which is 2.9 miles from the springs to the parking area.
To get to the trail head from Victorville do this : Go east on Main street in Hesperia until it turns into Arrowhead Lake road. Follow it past the spillway till it ends at Highway 173. Turn left and the road turns to dirt after @ 1 mile. A High clearance vehicle is recommended. The dirt road is one lane in many places, so you MAY have to back up if you see another truck. And the drop off on the Deep creek side is VERY steep almost all the way. After @ 8 miles the road is paved again. When you get to the pavement go @ 1/4 of a mile and look for a cement bridge at a sharp turn in the road, park near there. Then look north for a break in the fence. This is the Bradford ridge trail head.
It is a very beautiful hike, especially this year. Take your time and enjoy.
Glad to help !
