Chris, It would be in your best interest to camp at the Bowen ranch there are many camp sites and fire pits, out on the freedom trail head there are no fires permitted, camping at the springs is not permitted and if the rangers come down and they do on the weekends the fines are big,and can be up to $5,000 for each offense.camping, fires, glass, for each person.
