I forgot to mention that on Sunday I used my GPS to find the trip difference between the short cut going right at the fence into the family canyon and going forward down the Bradford ridge. When I took the short cut to the right my GPS said it was 2.3 mile to the springs from the trail head. When I took the Bradford ridge path my GPS said it was 2.8 miles from the trail head to the springs.
Also I have the lat. and long. for the Bradford ridge trail head the reading is :
34degrees 19.073N
117degrees11.765W
I hope somebody can use these readings.
