It's my experience that its not just the campers, but those who come thinking it's a big party place rather than an experience with the wilderness. Many of them are unprepared if an emergency were to occur. I met one guy who had hiked in from the spillway at 2 am with a full moon expecting to find naked mermaids or somethings. He was sleeping in the womb when I came in at dawn. He had no water, food or sense. I usually carry extra and so we took care of him. In a previous post I told about the gang I found who had conducted an initiation. They had left at least 30 Tecate cans and other trash. We all have to look around and pack it out. Thanks.
