The number is JF4, which forks to the west (right) off Bowen Ranch Road (prior to reaching the Bowen Ranch). Then drive about 1.8 miles to where there is a sign for JF3 and you turn left and go 1/2 mile to a sign that says Forest Boundary. Park before this sign and before the steep hill. The Forest Service will cite you if your vehicle does not have a Forest Adventure Pass. You can make it with a 2-wheel drive vehicle if it is not raining and you have a high enough clearance. Once you park, you hike south or southeast where there is a trail. Once on these trails, follow the barbed wire fence until it joins with the "goat trail" to the springs. Total hike 1 1/4 miles approximately.
